CoC Meeting – Voting of the General Membership

A General Membership Meeting for Voting for the Slate of the upcoming 3 Provider Seats AND Voting for the Changes to the Charter will be held at the Regional Task Force on The Homeless. Please see the defined changes in the Charter below that will be Voted on May 30, 2019 by the General Membership.

Within the Regional Task Force on Homelessness CoC Charter, ultimate responsibility for Charter approval is designated to the Full Membership.  On April 22 and 25, 2019 Governance Advisory Committee held input sessions to solicit feedback on the update to the Charter.

• Updated reference to AHAR to reflect HUD’s change to the LSA.
• Updated language of the Intergovernmental Council to present tense.
• Updated language of Health seats to include behavioral health care and preference for at least one seat to be given to consumers/individuals with lived experience.
• Updated language of Flexible seats to give preference to consumers/individuals with lived experience only
